The issue occurs if all of the
following conditions are
complied on a local scan:
(1) Specify the volume(s) in a
range of a local scan’s
volumes, and the volume(s)
which do(es) not have
available I/O path(s).
(2) Define the DASD
volume(s) as “DEVN x’FFFF’
in the I/O configuration
definition.
This issue does not require a
recovery as the result of
scanning is not affected by it.
NOTE: Applies to all supported operating systems
