Data Retention
You can create a Continuous Access Synchronous pair using volumes that have been assigned the
access attribute by the Data Retention (DRU). However, you cannot specify a volume with the
“S-VOL Disable” attribute as a Continuous Access Synchronous S-VOL.
The following table shows whether a DRU volume with the specified access attribute can be used
as a Continuous Access Synchronous P-VOL or S-VOL.
