1. With Remote Web Console you select 3 or 15 tracks for Copy Pace. For RAID Manager, you use the track size parameter
with basically the same track settings: if you specify 1-3, 3 tracks are used; if you specify 4-15, 15 tracks are used.
2. For the CFW Data option, you can specify “only P-VOL” only if Remote Copy Function Switch #12 is also enabled. If you
select CFW Data = only P-VOL, the data set that is updated by CFW in the P-VOL cannot be used in the S-VOL. To use this
data set in the S-VOL, delete the pair and format the data set.
3. You can only enable the Time Stamp option if Remote Copy Function Switch #36 is also enabled.
Enable the Time Stamp option for the following functions:
At-Time Split when used in a 3DC cascade configuration. The Time Stamp option is necessary to support the At-Time Split
of a BC Z pair that is cascaded with the Cnt Ac-S Z S-VOL/Cnt Ac-J Z P-VOL in the intermediate site.
In a 3DC cascade configuration when the related Cnt Ac-J Z remote journal is in an extended consistency group.
4. You cannot enable or disable the Time Stamp option when the pair is resynchronized in RAID Manager. Unless you delete
the pair, you can only disable the Time Stamp option by resynchronizing using Time Stamp = Disable in Remote Web Console.
