Options for whether the main system suspends the pair if the remote system cannot run DFW
(DASD fast write) to the S-VOL.
DFW to S-VOL
• DFW required: the pair is suspended when DFW data to the S-VOL is blocked.
• DFW not required: the pair is not suspended when DFW data to the S-VOL is blocked.
Where you specify whether or not the host I/O time stamp is transferred from P-VOL to S-VOL.Time Stamp

The selected volume’s LDKC number, CU number, LDEV number.Volume
When this option is enabled (and PPRC support by host = Yes), the MCU will notify all attached
hosts (IEA494I message) that the pair was suspended. This option should always be enabled.
SSB [F/M=FB]
Option that allows write I/O to the P-VOL when the pair is suspended. Relates to whether
you need to keep the P-VOL online or keep the pair synchronized. Options are S-VOL and
P-VOL Failure.
