Selecting devices
The SelectHrcDevice command allows you to search for pairs whose status matches the
specified parameters. The SelectHrcDevice parameters include:
• SelectHrcDevice∆$DevList= Output list
• ,$Dev= Device list
• [,$RcuSn= Serial number list]
• [,$RcuSsid= SSID number list]
• [,$Fence= Fence level list]
• [,$Sync= Sync level list]
• [,$PairStatus= Pair status list]
• [,$DevAttr= Device attribute list]
• [,$OptErrLv= Error level list]
• [,$CTG= CT group list]
• [,$Seqchk= SEQCHK flag list]
The Details for the arguments are:
• Output list (list type and numeric work variable)
• Device list (numeric): list of devices to be searched: L x 0x10000 + C x 0x100 + VV, where
L=LDKC#, C=CU#, VV=vol# within CU. Default = all possible target devices that can be
specified. The maximum number of devices is 1,024. If you want to search for more than
1,024 devices, repeat this command for several times.
When you write device list, you can omit LDKC# if the LDKC# is 0. For example, you can
write 0x0102 when LDKC# is 0, CU# is 1, and vol# is 2.
• Serial number list (string): RCU serial number. Default = not specific.
• SSID number list (numeric): RCU SSID. Default = not specific.
• Fence level list (string): “N” or “Never” = never; “S” or “Status” = status; “D” or “Data” =
data. Default = not specific.
• Sync level list (string): “S0” or “Synchronous0”; default = S0.
• Pair status list (string): “Simplex”, “Pending”, “Duplex”, “Suspended0” (suspended during
initial copy), “Suspended1” (suspended after initial copy), “Suspended” (all suspend types),
“Suspending”, “Deleting”, “Undefined”. Default = not specific.
NOTE: To maintain interchangeability with the script made with the model before
XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array, “Suspending” and “Deleting” has been left. These parameters
are not effective in XP P9500.
• Device attribute list (string): “P” or “P-VOL”, “S” or “S-VOL”. Default = not specific.
• Error level list (string): To maintain interchangeability with the script made with the model
before XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array, this parameter has been left. Do not use this parameter
with XP P9500.
• CT group list (numeric): To maintain interchangeability with the script made with the model
before XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array, this parameter has been left. Do not use this parameter
with XP P9500.
• SEQCHK flag list (string): To maintain interchangeability with the script made with the model
before XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array, this parameter has been left. Do not use this parameter
with XP P9500.
