UseSymbol
Used as an operator in the If statement when used alone. When the equal sign follows,
nothing changes.
Unequal sign
Used as a substitute sign when used alone. When the equal sign follows, it becomes
an operator in the If statement.
Equal sign
The before and after phrases are split by the symbols. Each symbol is recognized as a single word.
Downloading a script for editing
You can download script templates from Remote Web Console, then edit them to fit your systems
and requirements.
1. Using a web browser, access the Control Panel. See the HP XP P9000 Remote Web Console
User Guide for information on accessing Control Panel from the Tool panel.
2. In the Control Panel > Download tab, check the Other checkbox and then click Submit.
3. Save the files to a folder.
Running a script
1. Create or edit a script in text format. When you save the file, be aware of the following:
The maximum number of characters for the file name including the extension is 32. You
cannot use some symbols for the file name, such as ", \, ;, :, *, ?, <, >, |, /, and ,.
Enclose the file name within the double quotation marks, with an.spt extension, then click
Save.
2. Transfer the script file to SVP. In Remote Web Console, click Actions > Remote Replication >
Continuous Access Synchronous Z > Script Operations.
3. In the Script Operation window, click File Operation.
4. In the File Operation dialog box, click Import.
