Notes
1. The volume cannot be used as a Cnt Ac-J Z pair volume for the delta resync operation.
2. The volume can be used as an S-VOL only when restoring a Cnt Ac-J Z pair or performing the YKRESYNC REVERSE
operation. However, even in these cases, the volume cannot be used as the S-VOL for a Cnt Ac-J Z pair for delta
resync operation.
3. This is "No" if more than one primary system and more than one secondary system are used for remote copy (see
“Planning Cnt Ac-J Z in multiple P9500s using a consistency group” (page 31)).
4. The migration operation stops if Cnt Ac-J Z status changes to Pending or Duplex.
5. See the topic on interoperability with other products and functions in the HP P9000 for Compatible FlashCopy
Mirroring User Guide for more information.
6. A volume shared by two Cnt Ac-J Z pairs in the 3 Cnt Ac-J Z DC multi-target or cascade configuration cannot be
used for this function. Also, a volume that is already used for this function cannot be shared by two Cnt Ac-J Z pairs.
The following topics clarify key information regarding shared volumes.
NOTE: Continuous Access Synchronous Z and Business Copy Z volumes are used extensively
with Continuous Access Journal Z. See “Configurations with Continuous Access Synchronous Z”
(page 145) and “Configurations with Business Copy Z” (page 156) for more information.
