◦ The BC pair is a part of cascaded pairs. The other pairs in the cascaded pairs are in a
status that does not allow the pairsplit operation.
For more information, see “Status for L1, L2 pairs and operations permitted” (page 55).
◦ A BC pair volume is also used in a Cnt Ac-S (Cnt Ac-S) or Cnt Ac-J pair. The Cnt Ac-S or
Cnt Ac-J pair is in a status that does not allow the pairsplit operation.
After these factors are removed, perform the pairresync operation, and run the pairsplit
command.
