8. Use Remote Web Console to reconfigure the delta resync control paths required between the
Primary → Local and Local → Remote sites.
Operation is returned to normal.
NOTE: If during operation the status of a delta resync pair changes to HOLDTRNS, NODELTA,
or HOLDER, see “Actions to be Taken When the Delta Resync Function Cannot be Set Up or
Operated Successfully” (page 448).
Operating procedure during a local site storage system failure (with no information
lost from memory)
The preparation and recovery procedures to be performed when a failure, with no information lost
from memory, are the same as the procedures to be performed when a path failure occurs between
the primary site storage system and the local site storage system. See “Operating procedure during
a path failure between the primary site storage system and the local site storage system” (page 446).
Operating procedure during a remote site storage system failure (with no information
lost from memory)
The following is the procedure to perform when a failure with no information lost from memory,
occurs in a remote site storage system.
Preparing
No action is required.
Recovering
1. Recover the remote site storage system from the failure.
2. From the primary site, execute the YKDELETE command for the delta resync pair.
