Operating procedure during a path failure between the storage systems at the primary
site and remote site 1, or at the primary site and remote site 2
The following are the operating procedures that must be performed when a path failure occurs
between the storage systems at the primary site and remote site 1, or at the primary site and remote
site 2.
Preparing
If a path failure occurs between the storage systems at the primary site and remote site 1 or at the
primary site and remote site 2, perform the same preparatory procedure as the one used when a
failure, with information lost from memory, occurs in the storage system at remote site 1 or remote
site 2. See “Preparing” (page 397) in “Operating procedure during a storage system failure (with
information lost from memory) at remote site 1 or 2” (page 397).
Recovering
If a path failure occurs between the storage systems at the primary site and remote site 1 or at the
primary site and remote site 2, perform the same recovery procedure as the one used when a
failure, with information lost from memory, occurs in the storage system at remote site 1 or remote
site 2. See “Recovering” (page 397) in “Operating procedure during a storage system failure (with
information lost from memory) at remote site 1 or 2” (page 397).
