Operating procedure during a storage system failure (with no information lost from
memory) at the primary site and remote site 1
Failover
If a storage system failure, with no information lost from memory, occurs at the primary site and
remote site 1, perform the same failover procedure as the one used when a storage system failure,
with no information lost from memory, occurs at those sites. See “Failover” (page 393) in “Operating
procedure during a storage system failure (with information lost from memory) (volatile) at the
primary site and remote site 1” (page 393).
Failback
If a storage system failure, with no information lost from memory, occurs at the primary site and
remote site 1, perform the same failback procedure as the one used when a storage system failure,
with no information lost from memory, occurs at those sites. For details, see “Failback” (page 394)
in “Operating procedure during a storage system failure (with information lost from memory)
(volatile) at the primary site and remote site 1” (page 393).
In step 3, however, you do not have to register the journal group, and execute the YKRESYNC
command instead of the YKMAKE command.
