When I/O is required from the server while the split command is in process, if the microprocessor
with the port connected to the corresponding host path is blockaded, the data consistency of the
corresponding consistency group will not be ensured. If the blockade has occurred, resynchronize
the corresponding consistency group and perform the split command again.
To maintain the consistency between Cnt Ac-S pairs and Cnt Ac-S Z pairs in the Continuous Access
Synchronous consistency group, all pair status must be as follows.
• Cnt Ac-S pairs : PAIR
• Cnt Ac-S Z pairs : Duplex
Perform the pair splitting operation to the corresponding group after making all pair status mentioned
above, if there are pairs in the status other than PAIR or Duplex.
The following tables show the status of Cnt Ac-S pairs and Cnt Ac-S Z pairs and the result of the
pair splitting operation performed.
