This section describes what actions to take when an error occurs while creating or updating a
configuration file.
How To Correct an Error that Occurs While Creating or Updating a Configuration File
If an error occurs when you are creating or updating a configuration file in the ISPF panel, an error
message appears in the Exception Message panel. If you press the Enter key or F12=CANCEL key
in this panel, one of the following occurs:
• The panel for creating or updating a configuration file reappears.
• The Confirm Retry of Configuration File Create panel appears.
