ISPF Log Data
To check the actions performed in the ISPF panel of Business Continuity Manager:
1. From the ISPF menu, choose 7 Dialog Test. The Primary Option panel displays.
2. From the Primary Option panel, choose 5 Log.
The ISPF log data is displayed. The displayed ISPF log data can be printed.
NOTE:
• After command operations from the ISPF panel continue for a long period, the ISPF log dataset
might become full, and might terminate abnormally. To prevent this, when you start the ISPF
panel, delete ISPF log information and empty the ISPF log dataset.
• When operating the ISPF panel for a long period, to prevent the log dataset from becoming
full, regularly switch to another dataset by entering the LOG command in the Command line
by choosing 3.
If processing terminated abnormally, choose 4 in the menu to terminate the ISPF panel, save
the current log dataset, and then allocate another log dataset.
CLI Command-Execution Logs
CLI command-execution logs for Business Continuity Manager are output to SYSLOG. The log data
for internal CLI commands executed when operating the ISPF panel are also output.
