Registering a command device in a Storage System
This section explains how to register a command device in a storage system. For information about
the data displayed in each ISPF panel, see the definition example in “Route list definition example”
(page 458).
To register a command device in a storage system:
1. Display the Main Menu panel and choose 1 Set Defaults.
The Set Defaults panel for specifying various default values displays.
2. Check that the value set to the Local Device Address Domain ID is the same as the DAD ID (SF)
of the primary site in the Set Defaults panel.
3. Display the Main Menu panel and choose 4 Manage Route.
The Manage Route panel displays.
4. Specify s in the AC column of the route list in which a command device is to be registered.
The Route Status panel displays.
5. To register the command device, specify b in AC of all the target storage systems.
