11. Press the F6=Scan key.
NOTE: When using a command device during an NG scan, in the Set Defaults panel, specify
Y for Remote DKC Function, and the route list of the first entry for the storage system subject
to the NG scan for Preset RouteListID.
An NG scan is performed and the CU Selection List for Edit devn panel is displayed.
12. Assign a dummy device number.
For details on how to assign a dummy device number, see “Assigning a dummy device number”
(page 474).
When a dummy device number is assigned, the Scan Device Address Extent panel is displayed
(NG scan is completed).
13. Repeat steps 6 and 10 through 12 to perform a scan with another scope.
14. Press the F3=Exit key.
The Discover HP Storage Arrays panel appears.
