4x4x4 Multi-Target Configuration
This configuration is a combination of a 4x4 configuration and a 3DC Multi-Target configuration.
Between the primary site and the local site, a Continuous Access Synchronous for Mainframe copy
group is used. Between the primary site and the remote site, the Continuous Access Journal for
Mainframe copy group that defined an extended consistency group (EXCTG) is used. Although
the 3DC Multi-Target configurations cannot preserve consistency across multiple storage systems,
the 4x4x4 Multi-Target configurations can preserve consistency across multiple storage systems in
an EXCTG. The following figure shows a 4x4x4 Multi-target configuration with the Delta Resync
function.
