The following table describes the configuration files required for using Business Continuity Manager
in a 4x4x4 Cascade configuration.

• An inter-disk controller logical path (bidirectional)
between the intermediate site and the remote site
--The following Continuous Access Synchronous Z
copy groups are required:

• A copy group container between the primary site
and the intermediate site is required (Continuous
Access Synchronous Z timestamp transfer mode
enabled, and the Continuous Access Synchronous
Z Consistency Preservation Function used).
• Copy groups used for error handling must be
created by dividing the above copy group
container by storage system (Continuous Access
Synchronous Z timestamp transfer mode enabled,
and the Continuous Access Synchronous Z
Consistency Preservation Function used).
The following Continuous Access Journal Z copy
groups are required:
• An EXCTG between the intermediate site and the
remote site is required.
• Copy groups used for error handling must be
created by dividing the above EXCTG by storage
system. Such copy groups cannot be used as an
EXCTG.
