Table 85 Contents of the Suspension Options Panel
DescriptionItem
Copy group IDCopy Group ID
Specify the parameter of the YKSUSPND command by using the
number.
Suspend Option
• Steady: Moves to SUSPOP status after copying data.
• Quick: Moves quickly to an SUSPOP status in the BC data copy.
• Drain: Suspends after reflecting the unreflected data.
• Purge: Suspends, discarding the unreflected data.
• Preset: Specifies use of the ATTIME suspend function. The suspend
time of the ATTIME suspend function specified in Preset Mode
will be set.
• Cancel Preset: Cancels the ATTIME suspend time. The ATTIME
suspend time for either the NORMAL ATTIME suspend function or
the CAJ ATTIME suspend function that has been set will be
canceled, regardless of the specification in Preset Mode.
• Forward: Makes copy direction from primary site to secondary
site after resynchronizing a copy pair.
• Reverse: Makes copy direction from secondary site to primary
site after resynchronizing a copy pair.
• Flush: Suspends after reflecting the unreflected data up to the
time of the suspend request.
NOTE:
• The Preset and Cancel Preset parameters are effective for
BC and TCA copy groups with a consistency group ID, and can
be specified for a remote storage system only when the CAJ ATTIME
suspend function is used. Note that this setting is released by P/S
ON/OFF in the primary storage system.
• Use preset mode to specify whether the status of a BC copy group
for which preset has been specified will change to the SUSPOP
status after the data has been completely copied (Steady), or the
status will immediately change to the SUSPOP (Quick).
Specify the SVOL parameter of the YKSUSPND command (option for
S-VOL update s when suspended) by using the number.
Secondary Volumes R/W
• Protect: Prohibits updates.
• Permit: Permits updates.
Preset and Cancel Preset of the Suspend Option cannot
be specified at the same time.
Specify the SELECT parameter of the YKSUSPND command (that is,
how to select a copy pair to be manipulated) by using the number.
Pair Selection
• All: Select all copy pairs as targets.
• Conditional: Select target copy pairs based on the volume
status of the copy pair.
Specify the ATTIME parameter (ATTIME suspend time) of the
YKSUSPND command.
Preset Date YYYYMMDD
Preset Time HHMMSS
Before the ATTIME parameter is specified, the current date and time
are displayed in Preset Data and Preset Time.
Plus Minutes MMMM
Plus Seconds SS
Scheduled suspend time is determined by Preset Data, and Preset Time
by adding Plus Minutes and Plus Seconds. An ATTIME suspend time
more than 65,536 minutes after the execution of command cannot
be specified If the CAJ ATTIME suspend function is not used, this
cannot be specified for a remote storage system.
To check the specified time in another way, see the ISPF log.
