Copy group IDCopy Group ID
Specify the NOCOPY or HOLD parameter of the YKMAKE command.Initial Copy Option
Full Copy: Makes a copy pair by full copy.
No Copy: Makes a copy pair without copying the volume (the
NOCOPY parameter is specified).
You can specify the NOCOPY parameter in CA, CAA, and CAJ.
Delta Resync Relation Make: Makes a delta resync pair
(the HOLD parameter is specified).
You can specify the HOLD parameter in CAJ.
Specify the direction of the copy (default is Forward):Direction Option
Forward: Copies the contents of the primary site to the secondary
site.
Reverse: Copies the contents of the secondary site to the primary
site.
Specify SELECT parameter of YKMAKE command, that is, how to
select a copy pair to be manipulated:
Pair Selection
All: Select all copy pairs as targets.
Conditional: Select target copy pairs based on the volume
status of the copy pair.
When the S-VOL is online, determine whether to make or resynchronize
a copy pair (default is N):
Overwrite ONLINE target volume
Y: Makes or resynchronizes the copy pair even if the S-VOL is
online.
N: Do not make or resynchronize the copy pair if the S-VOL is
online.
The BC Copy Group Make Options panel is displayed for the BC copy type. The UR Copy Group
Make Options panel is displayed for the CAJ copy type.
In the Make Options panel, if Y is specified in the Overwrite ONLINE target volume and F3=Exit
is pressed, the Confirm Overwrite ONLINE Target Volume panel (see “Confirm Overwrite ONLINE
Target Volume Panel” (page 178)) is displayed.
Executing YKSUSPND
If u is specified in the AC column in the Manage Copy Groups panel, the YKSUSPND command
to suspend a copy pair is executed, and the Suspension Options panel for specifying YKSUSPND
command parameters is displayed.
