HP XP P9000Info v25.00.00 Release Notes (T1789-96350)

The corresponding SLPR and CLPR data for the cu:ldev ID is displayed under the respective
column headings (SLPR and CLPR) in the LDEV table.
NOTE: The SLPR value is displayed as "--" for P9000 and later disk arrays.
When an LDEV is visible from more than one array port, HP XP P9000Info randomly displays
an array port for each execution of HP XP P9000Info.
For example, if LDEV 02:11 is configured such that it is visible from both CL2A and CL2C
array ports, HP XP P9000Info displays this LDEV from either of the two configured ports for
each execution on HP XP P9000Info.
HP XP P9000Info is now supported on the OpenVMS Integrity Server (IA-64) platform. To use
the various commands in HP XP P9000Info, define an identifier as follows:
xpinfo :== $[XPINFO_PATH]xpinfo.exe.
xpinfo is the identifier and [XPINFO_PATH] points to the location where the HP XP P9000Info
software is installed.
Example: xpinfo :==
$SYS$SYSDEVICE:[VMS$COMMON.HEWLETTPACKARD.P9000HOSTSW.HOSTAGENT.SBIN]xpinfo.exe
You must enable Legacy DSF in HP-UX 11i v3 for HP XP P9000Info to function properly.
HP XP P9000Info fails to display the newly added LUNs, unless a rescan is done.
HP XP P9000Info does not display the SCSI Target ID of the device if you disable Legacy DSF
in HP-UX 11iv3. If you run the xpinfo -o command when Legacy DSF is disabled, results
are not displayed.
Additional information
HP XP P9000Info will display appropriate data in all the fields if the installed RMLIB version is
compatible with that installed for the host agent. If RMLIB is not installed, the system will display
the Pool Id, Total Pool Capacity, and Used Pool Capacity as ’---’ for LDEVs belonging to THP pool.
Also the RAID type information, RAID level, and disk mechanics information will be either incorrectly
displayed or will not be displayed on the screen.
