NOTE: HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 supports all the hard disks that are supported
by XP and P9000 (P9500) disk arrays. HP recommends that you install or upgrade to the latest
RMLIB version to obtain the new features.
New features
HP XP P9000Info new features include the following:
• Support for displaying Virtual Migrated Volume on the HP XP P9000Info inquiry page. This
page displays the following information:
◦ xpinfo -i, xpinfo -m, and xpinfo -x commands display an “*” mark along with
the array serial number representing the migrated volume.
◦ A new switch xpinfo -V is added which displays the Port Id, CU:Ldev number, Serial
number, Resident Port Id, Resident CU:Ldev number, and the Resident Serial number for
the virtually migrated volumes.
NOTE: xpinfo -V command is not supported on IBM AIX operating systems.
Enhancements
There are no new enhancements in this release.
• HP XP P9000Info supports the display of a new field Virtual Migrated Volume in xpinfo
-X, whose output is either Yes or No. Yes, if it is Virtually migrated, and No, if it is not
migrated.
• HP XP P9000Info supports the display of nickname for LDEVs on P9500 arrays. A new field
is added in xpinfo -f, which displays the nickname for LDEV on P9500 array.
NOTE: This feature is not supported on OpenVMS operating systems.
