This document addresses the frequently asked questions on HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor
Software (HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor). These FAQs are compiled periodically and the

NOTE: In versions prior to v5.0, HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor is called XP Performance
Advisor.
HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor log collection tool
The HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor log selection tool is an utility provided with HP XP P9000
Performance Advisor. If you encounter issues with HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor that might
require support intervention, this utility can be used to collect data required for analysis when you
reproduce the issue. The log can be generated at the following different levels:
• Error
• All
• Debug
• Fatal
• Info
• Warn
• Off
The log details can be saved (compressed zip format) and provided to the HP XP P9000 Performance
Advisor Support team for further offline analysis of the issue. Once the log is provided, you can
set the log level as 'Off'.
You can access this utility by entering your server name followed by /pa, and
xppaLogChanger.jsp in the browser address line.

You can also access this utility over a secure connection, the url is https://[server
name].[domain name]/pa/xppaLogChanger.jsp.
