3. Enter SYSGEN>EXIT.
4. Enter $set def SYS$SYSDEVICE:[VMS$COMMON.SYSEXE] at the system prompt.
5. Enter $mcr authorize.
6. Enter the following at the UAF prompt:
UAF>mod
system/enqlm=32767/bytlm=10000000/pbytlm=100000/jtquo=4096/pgflquo=7000000
7. Enter UAF>exit to close the UAF session.
8. Log out of the current session and log in again.
9. Remove the existing instance of the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor OpenVMS Integrity
Server (IA-64) (IA-64) host agent and then install the host agent again. For more information,

Cause
Required disk space is not available in the host agent install directories.
Resolution
Ensure that at least 1 GB disk space is available for copying the host agent executable on the
respective hosts.
Cause
Incompatible host agent versions might have been downloaded to the respective operating system
specific hosts.
Resolution
Ensure that the host agent version you download from the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor
Support screen is supported by the respective host specific operating platform. For more information,
see HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor Software OS Support Matrix. For document download

Resume and complete the installation. Verify that the Windows and UNIX host agent services have
started, and if the host agent records are displayed in the Host Information table on the Array View
screen (Monitoring+Array View+Host Information). You can also see the chapter on communicating

HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor OpenVMS host agent service fails to start on
system reboot
Cause
After rebooting an OpenVMS Integrity Server (IA-64) host where the HP XP P9000 Performance
Advisor host agent is installed, it is observed that the host agent service might not start automatically.
Resolution
Perform the steps listed to resolve the error:
1. Ensure that the TCP/IP services are active on the OpenVMS Integrity Server (IA-64) host.
2. Enter the following command in the sys$manager:systartup_vms.com file.
@[SYS$STARTUP]xppa.com
3. Save changes and close the file.
