HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor Software v6.0 Release Notes

Fixes
P9000 Performance Advisor v6.0 includes the following defect fixes:
Intermittent RG performance data collection drops are observed.
Scheduled configuration data collection fails due to an invalid RMI session entry.
The HTTP connection is not established between the host agent and management station. The
performance collection data does not get updated and gaps are observed in the data points
in charts.
P9000 Performance Advisor dashboard displays the MP usage values in the lower CHIP board
as duplicate of the values in the upper CHIP board.
The Resize Heap tool stops functioning when you increase or decrease the heap size value.
HP XP P9000Sketch does not support the .csv files that are generated using HP XP
P9000Watch in the CLI mode.
The Edit option on the View Reports screen does not work properly if multiple reports are
selected for editing.
The Cache utilization report in the HTML format does not display the graphs.
The Oracle patch installer bundled with P9000 Performance Advisor had a security issue due
to which Performance Advisor was listed as vulnerable on running TNS listener.
P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 does not trigger the alarms that are configured for multiple
host groups or custom groups.
Notes
In P9000 Performance Advisor, you can view the newly configured CA pairs only after
performing the configuration data collection.
In XP P9000Watch, for P9500 disk arrays, the average LDEV I/O utilization value replicates
to other LDEVs of the same RAID group, even if there is no I/O activity on the other LDEVs.
On the Array View - LDEV screen, the Snapshot and Fast snap volumes are displayed as SMPL.
Workaround—View the PVOL and SVOL LDEV information on the Charts screen.
The SMART pools monitoring cycle time is incorrect if the time zone of the storage array is
different from the management station’s time zone.
Current Status—This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
After upgrading to P9000 Performance Advisor v6.0, occasionally, the array type in the
generated schedule report is displayed as XP 256.
Current Status—This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
The number of records displayed on the current page of the Array View - Custom Group screen
are not sorted. The last few pages might be blank.
Current Status—This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
While creating performance data collection schedules in HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor
v6.0, you cannot split the components selected from the DKC, Port, and RG component type
lists into two schedules. If you upgrade to HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor v6.0, you can
use the performance data collection schedules created in HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor
v5.5 by splitting the components. However, you cannot edit and save such schedules. HP
recommends that you delete split schedules and recreate schedules with similar component
types. If you save split schedules after modifications, the component types that are split are
removed and the remaining component types are saved in the schedule.
