HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor Software v5.5.1 Release Notes (T1789-96349)

• You cannot plot multiple charts simultaneously at the Custom Group level charts. You must
plot one chart at a time.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1
release date.
• HP XP P9000Watch and RealTime does not support THP Pool, Smart Pool, BC, Snapshots,
and External RG’s.
Current Status: This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
• If Host is not displayed under Host information screen post Host agent Installation on SLES 11
SP1, refer HostDebugOut.log placed under /opt/xppa/hostagent/log.
If it displays the following error, install compat-32bit-XXX.rpm to resolve the third party
software issue:
Exception in thread "Thread-1" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:
/opt/xppa/hostagent/lib/libBccaRaidMgrLibJNI.so: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 release date.
• When you split a PAIR, the status of the volume type changes to “SMPL”, but this does not
dynamically removes the PVOL or SVOL from the CA screen.
Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 release date.
• When CA link is recovered from failure, the CA link status is not updated at the secondary
array in CA screen.
Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 release date.
• SVOL and CA-Journal volume activities (IOs, MBs and backend transfer) are not updated at
secondary array in CA-Journal configuration.
Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.5.1 release date.
• In P9000 Performance Advisor CA screen, primary array serial number is displayed as “0”
in the Primary Array column, when the volume type is “SVOL”.
In HP XP P9000Watch, the Sec Ser# column displays serial number as “NA”, when the
volume type is “SVOL”.
