HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Software v5.4.1 Release Notes (T1789-96345, October 2012)

• If you configure an alarm with multiple email addresses using a previous version of P9000

Performance Advisor, and later you upgrade to P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4, the Alarm

screen displays the previously configured email addresses but does not allow you to edit the

alarm. However, the email is sent to all the email addresses configured using P9000

Performance Advisor.

Workaround: To edit the alarm with multiple addresses configured in the previous version of

P9000 Performance Advisor, specify an alias email address in the Email Destination

field in the Alarm screen.

Current Status: This will be fixed in the subsequent release.

• When you split a PAIR, the status of the volume type changes to “SMPL”, but this does not

dynamically removes the PVOL or SVOL from the CA screen.

Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4.1 release date.

• When CA link is recovered from failure, the CA link status is not updated at the secondary

array in CA screen.

Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4.1 release date.

• SVOL and CA-Journal volume activities (IOs, MBs and backend transfer) are not updated at

secondary array in CA-Journal configuration.

Current Status: no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4.1 release date.

• In P9000 Performance Advisor CA screen, primary array serial number is displayed as “0”

in the Primary Array column, when the volume type is “SVOL”.

In P9000Watch, the Sec Ser# column displays serial number as “NA”, when the volume

type is “SVOL”.
