IMPORTANT:
If P9000 Performance Advisor is using a port other than port 80, you must specify that port number
along with the server name or IP address in the http address format. For example: http://[server
name]:<port_no>/pa or http://[server name].[domain name]:<port_no>/pa.

Event log not updated
Cause
If events are not updated in the Event Log after a task is completed, it might be due to the timezone
difference between the management station and the client from where the P9000 Performance Advisor
application is launched using the IE browser.
Resolution
Add the management station time in the Event Log screen by completing the following steps:
1. Log on to P9000 Performance Advisor.
2. Click Event Log in the left pane.
3. In the Start Time and End Time section, set the hour and time corresponding to that of the man-
agement station.

Unable to launch P9000 Performance Advisor

Cause
Unable to log into P9000 Performance Advisor using the Domain Authentication method. It might be
due to the configured firewall settings. The following error message will be displayed:
