Workaround: View the Cache related metrics for an XP1024/128 Disk Array on the Performance
View and Summary View screens.
Current Status: This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
Real-time charts and historical charts cannot be plotted simultaneously, as the plotting of real-time
data stops when the plotting of historical data is in progress.
In such a case, the following error message appears on the Charts screen:
The selected component may no longer be connected to the array or does
not have any activity happening currently. Please verify if the selected
component is currently active. If you see that the selected component
is active, then please try recreating the device files as the device
file may not be accessible by RealTimeServer.
When historical data is plotted, ensure that the real-time data charting is not started.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
When you perform the inband mode of configuration data collection, the following behaviors are
observed:
The snapshot V-Vol numbers displayed in the Array View Summary screen are inconsistent.
Workaround: HP recommends that you perform outband mode of configuration data collection
to view the snapshot V-Vol numbers.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
The number of LDEVs associated with an MP blade are inconsistent. This behavior is observed
in the Array View - MP Blade screen.
Workaround: HP recommends that you perform outband mode of configuration data collection
to view the LDEV numbers.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
When you plot a chart for more than 250 components, the performance graphs for only the first
250 components are displayed in the chart.
Workaround: To plot performance graphs for more than 250 components, you must plot the graphs
for the first 250 components in the existing chart window and then plot the graphs for the remaining
components in a new chart window.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
If you upgrade from P9000 Performance Advisor v5.2 to v5.4, you must re-configure the SNMP
settings on the management station to receive notifications on alarms, reports, and data collection
failures after the upgrade process is completed. For more information, see the HP StorageWorks
P9000 Performance Advisor Software Installation Guide available at www.hp.com/go/Perform-
anceAdvisor-support-docs.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
When a manual purge or data archival process is active, occasionally, you might notice that the
management station overlooks data samples received from the host agents.
