Enhancements
P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 includes the following enhancements:
• Each report includes the 50th, 90th, and 95th percentile values as legends in the charts.
• Storage Optimizer tool enhancements are incorporated into Performance Advisor PET.
• Improved user interface is available for Alarms and Charts screens.
• Troubleshooting section is now available at the Host Group level.
• P9000 Performance Advisor can co-exist with any other instance of Oracle.
• In Charts, Custom group level IOs and MBs are added.
• Average response time at array level is available in the Array View screen.
• Additional metrics for IO, Throughput, and Response Time are added at host group level.
• Additional IOPS and MBPS charts are added in Array Performance Report.
• User Account Control (UAC) compliance is available for MS/HA Windows installers.
• P9000 Performance Advisor installation or upgrade log is enhanced to include details of each
phase of the installation or upgrade.
• RAID Group and MP Blade nodes are added under Host Group node of the chart for better
troubleshooting at the host level.
• Performance Estimation tool (PET) is enhanced to display performance estimation for P9500 disk
arrays.
• Alarms can be configured for Host Groups level metrics.
• Ports, Cache and MP Blades (in case of P9500) or CHA MP and DKA MP (in case of XP) are added
under Real time charts for better troubleshooting.
P9000Watch enhancements
P9000Watch in P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 is enhanced to include the ability to view previous
collection metrics in the interactive mode.

IMPORTANT:
HP fully supports the current and previous two major releases of the software. If you have installed
an older version of P9000 Performance Advisor, then HP recommends that you upgrade it to a
supported version, or to the latest version of the product.
