HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Software v5.4 Release Notes (T1789-96331, April 2012)

The purging may take hours to complete based on the database size. HP recommends that you
stop the performance collection before starting the purge to overcome missing data points during
purge.
Current Status: This will be fixed in the subsequent release.
For XP/P9500 disk arrays with concatenated parity groups, you might notice 4D+4D RAID type
instead of two 2D+2D concatenated parity groups in the Performance Estimator screen.
Current Status: Fix is being investigated, no ETA as of P9000 Performance Advisor v5.4 release
date.
While charting backend transfer metrics for DKCs or ACPs with concatenated RAID groups, you
might observe that the total write tracks do not match the sum of the individual DKC or ACP metrics.
Current Status: This will be fixed in the subsequent release.

provides.

When the response time from an XP or a P9000 (P9500) disk array is high (for example, around
3700 read I/Os with each taking close to 10 milliseconds), use a shorter performance data col-
