Launch P9000 Performance Advisor and log in using your credentials.
IMPORTANT:
Install Adobe Flash Player on the system from where you will access P9000 Performance Advisor.
Download Adobe Flash Player and Flash Player Plugin, v10.0.0 or later from the following
location: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

Configure your web browser to not use any web proxy servers.

Verify the P9000 Performance Advisor functionality for historic data by plotting charts, and see if you
are able to view the previous set of collections.

Reconfigure the email and alarm notification settings on the management station to receive alarms,
reports, and data collection failure notifications.

Based on the host agents you want to install, download the respective host agent files to the respective
hosts.

Remove the existing version of the P9000 Performance Advisor Linux host agent, if the upgrade is on
a Linux host.

Upgrading P9000 Performance Advisor host agents
Upgrade to the latest versions of P9000 Performance Advisor host agents.
At this point, return to the respective P9000 Performance Advisor host agent installers to proceed with
the host agents upgrade. For more information, see “Upgrading to the latest versions of host
agents” on page 115.

After upgrading P9000 Performance Advisor host agents, return to this checklist to complete
the remaining set of prerequisites and tasks for using P9000 Performance Advisor.
