SNAPSHOT
Syntax
snapshot -dkc <serial #> [-pid <snapshot pool id>] [-auth <user:passwd>]
[-ms <URL>] [-L] [-d<char>] [-hr] [-?] [-pf <password file>]
Supported disk array types
XP and P9000 disk arrays
Description
Enables you to obtain Snapshot pool related information. This command provides the Snapshot pool
occupancy value in percentage. This command does not display the snapshot pools unless snapshot
pool is associated with any Virtual volume.
Switches
Required. Specify the array serial number.–dkc <serial #>
Specify the address of a management station in the format <http://path.to.manage-
mentstation:<port>> or <https://path.to.managementstation>.
–ms <URL>
Specify a user name and password pair in the format user name:password.
–auth <user:pass-
wd>
Can be used in place of –auth.
NOTE:
The password file must be created using the encrypt command only.
–pf <password
file>
Specify the delimiter for delimited display.–d
Displays data in a readable format.–hr
Prints the usage statement.–?
NOTE:
The -st and –et options are supported with the –pid option only.
Examples
snapshot -dkc <array sn no> -hr
snapshot -dkc <array sn no> -L
snapshot -dkc <array sn no> -pid 1
