Operating systems and JRE requirements
The list of operating systems supported by the P9000 Performance Advisor management station and

In addition, the support matrix includes the supported Internet Explorer (IE) and Java Runtime
Environment (JRE) versions.
IMPORTANT:
You must install JRE before installing P9000 Performance Advisor and the host agents.
Languages
P9000 Performance Advisor is available only in English.
New features
P9000 Performance Advisor v5.3 includes the following new features:
Support for SLES v11.0 (SP1) host agent
Support for RHEL v5.6 host agent

Enhancements
P9000 Performance Advisor v5.3 includes the following enhancements:
Stacked chart view: Use the Stacked button in the Charts screen for a stacked area chart view of
the average utilization of resources.
Each area in the stacked chart represents the percentage of average metrics utilization. The X-
axis represents the date and time selected. The Y-axis represents the utilization percentage. The
legends on the top right corner of the stacked area chart help you to identify the components.
Docx format: You can generate reports in Docx file format.
Two new metrics, Total MB Reads Frontend and Total MB Writes Frontend are added under
the Frontend IO Metrics category in P9000 Performance Advisor.
Total MB Reads Frontend. The total random and sequential frontend read MBs on this LDEV
during the entire collection interval.
Total MB Writes Frontend. The total random and sequential frontend Write MBs on this LDEV
during the entire collection interval.
