New performance metrics for host groups
The following new performance metrics are added for host groups:
• Avg IOPS: Average Front-end I/O per second
• Avg MB: Average throughput
Enhancements
P9000 Performance Advisor v5.2 includes the following enhancements:
Automatically detecting IIS Admin service and taking appropriate action during
P9000 Performance Advisor installation
If Internet Information Services (IIS) Admin service is active or has stopped on the management station,
and its startup type is set to one of the following, the v5.2 installation wizard takes appropriate action
based on the startup type:
• If the IIS Admin service is running and the startup type is Automatic, the installation wizard stops
the service and sets the startup type to Manual.
• If the IIS Admin service has stopped and the startup type is Automatic, the installation wizard only
sets the startup type to Manual. The IIS Admin service continues to remain stopped.
• If the IIS Admin service is running and the startup type is Manual, the installation wizard only stops
the service. The IIS Admin service startup type continues to show Manual.
• If the IIS Admin service is stopped and the startup type is Manual, no action is taken by the install-
ation wizard.
Automatically configuring firewall settings during v5.2 installation
If the firewall is enabled, its settings are configured so that port 80 (or the non-default http port that
you specify) and port 443 are added to the exception list of the firewall. It is to enable the web
browser clients to access P9000 Performance Advisor after installation.

• P9000 Performance Advisor + HP Systems Insight Manager Agents (HP Insight Foundation Agents,
HP Insight Server Agents, HP Insight Storage Agents, HP ProLiant Remote Monitor Service, and
HP ProLiant System Shutdown Service)
• P9000 Performance Advisor + P9000 Performance Advisor Windows host agent + HP Systems
Insight Manager Agents (HP Insight Foundation Agents, HP Insight Server Agents, HP Insight
Storage Agents, HP ProLiant Remote Monitor Service, and HP ProLiant System Shutdown Service)
P9000Watch enhancements
P9000Watch in P9000 Performance Advisor v5.2 includes the following enhancement:
Displaying host group name instead of the host WWN
P9000Watch now displays the host group name instead of the host WWN for an individual host
group.
