General precautions
• While the update operation is in progress, do not start the service or execute any command of
the Replication Manager server or HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite Common
Component. Also, do not access any files in the installation destination folders.
• While the update is in progress, do not interrupt the program.
• If the update package includes an agent correction, update the server, download the agent from
the server to the target host, and then update the agent on the host. For instructions, see the HP
P9000 Replication Manager Software Configuration Guide.
Windows precautions
The user who performs the update must be a member of the Administrator group.
