Before installing P9000 Command View AE Software on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system, set the
shell restriction values for the /etc/security/limits.conf file. Set the shell restrictions for soft
and hard settings.
NOTE:
The soft value must be less than or equal to the hard value.
The values for these settings depend on which of the following P9000 Command View AE Software
products you are installing:

Device Manager
Tiered Storage Manager
