Prerequisites for database file backups or export locations
If P9000 Command View AE Software is already installed on the management server, create a copy
of the database using the method appropriate to the installed version before performing an upgrade.
From a version earlier than 5.5: Back up the database.
From version 5.5 or later: Export the database.
If you plan to use a path other than the default, ensure that the new path adheres to the restrictions
in Table 5.
