KAIC05607-E or KAIC06400-E error during an operation
• If the KAIC05607-E or KAIC06400-E error occurs during a Migrate Data operation, some of
the configuration changes might be applied to the storage system. Therefore, the content of the
Task Status displayed in the Migration pairs table on a Task Details dialog of Migrate Data might
not correspond to the configuration of the storage system. If this occurs, refresh the storage system
information and check the current storage system configuration. After that, perform the Migrate
Data operation again using the recent Task Status and the configuration of the storage system.
• If the KAIC05607-E or KAIC06400-E error occurs during a Device Manager GUI or CLI operation
to change a storage system configuration, some of the configuration changes might have been
applied to the storage system. Refresh the storage system information and check the current storage
system configuration. After that, continue the configuration change operation by using the Device
Manager GUI, CLI, or Element Manager.
Using Host Data Collector to register Windows hosts on a Solaris or Linux server
If using Host Data Collector on a Solaris or Linux server to register or refresh a Windows host and the
message ERR_1202 appears, retry registering or refreshing the host.
ERR_1202 : Unable to copy all the files to the remote server. (Remote
server: <IP_ADDRESS_OF_TARGET_HOST>, Cause: session setup failed: Call
timed out: server did not respond after 20000 milliseconds Receiving SMB:
Server stopped responding)
Upgrading Host Data Collector in Windows
If Host Data Collector is upgraded in a Windows environment in which the path of the environment
variable tmp includes characters other than the following, Host Data Collector does not start:
A-Z a-z 0-9 space ~@#$^&()_+{}`-=[]'.,%!,
if this occurs, before upgrading Host Data Collector, or if Host Data Collector has already been
upgraded, uninstall it as described, and then install it again:
1. Open Command Prompt.
2. Execute the following command:
<installation-directory-of-Device-Manager>\Host Data
Collector\Uninstall_Host Data Collector\Uninstall Host Data
Collector.exe
If Host Data Collector is upgraded without removing it first, remove Host Data Collector according
to the previous procedure, and then install Host Data Collector again.
Executing tasks
If an operation (such as the user is locked, the user's permissions are changed, or the user is deleted)
is performed to the user who registers a task, the task execution is not cancelled. Likewise, even if the
user group to which the user belongs or authorized resource groups are changed, the task execution
is still not cancelled. Check the status of all tasks, and then cancel the task manually. If the task is not
cancelled, the task might not execute.
