This section explains how to install P9000 mainframe agent.
Installing P9000 mainframe agent
The following figure shows the workflow of installing P9000 mainframe agent.

The following task outlines the installation of the P9000 mainframe agent. The numbers in the procedure
correspond to the numbers in Figure 5.
To install P9000 mainframe agent:
1. Insert the installation CD-ROM.
2. From the PC and using ASCII, transfer the following installation JCLs to a host machine:
• JCL (YKAGALLO) for allocating space for the datasets on the CD-ROM that are to be transferred.
• JCL (YKAGINST) for allocating space for and extracting the datasets to be executed.
3. Edit the JCLs transferred in step 2 to match your installation environment.
