CVAE 6.0 to 7.0 Transition Overview (TB581-96076, June 2011)

• Upon upgrading CVAE from V6 to V7, the same logical group structure remains.
• Administrator creates a storage folder and places volumes which used to be assigned to a resource group
o V7 storage folder can contain unallocated volumes so that a storage administrator can use the
same resources as that in V6
• The administrator who manages a resource group is assigned to “All Resources” group to access CVAE
• Please assign logical groups to storage administrators to manage resources within the logical groups.
