NOTE:
When using IPv6, both IPv4 and IPv6 must be enabled on the management server. You can use IPv6
addresses only if they are global addresses.

If you link to a Device Manager Agent running on a guest OS of VMware ESX 4.x or VMware ESXi
4.x, use v7.0.1 or later of Device Manager server and Device Manager Agent. If you link to a Device
Manager Agent running on a guest OS of VMware ESX 5.x, use v7.2 or later of Device Manager
server and Device Manager Agent.
WARNING!
Do not use a Managed Service Account if Windows Server 2008 R2 is the OS on the pair management
server, database server, or backup server. If a Managed Service Account is specified for one of the
following services, errors might occur when Replication Manager operations are being performed:
Application Agent Services (Protection Manager Service, HBsA Service)
SQL Server, SQL Server Agent, and other SQL Server-related services (when running a service to
create a replica for an SQL Server database)
