DescriptionParameter name
Specifies the host name to be added.
hostname
Use periods (.) as delimiters.
wwnlist
Specifies the IP address of the host to be added. If you use an
IPv4 address, specify the address for the parameter ipad-
dress. If you use an IPv6 address, specify the address for the
parameter ipv6address.

Command execution example
The example below shows how to register the host test. The WWN list and IP address are assumed
to be 00.00.00.00.00.00.00.01 and 10.208.176.102, respectively.
hdvmcli AddHost hostname=test wwnlist=00.00.00.00.00.00.00.01
ipaddress=10.208.176.102
Command execution results
An example of the command execution results is shown below. Check the value for name to make
sure that the host has been registered correctly. In this example, you can see that the host name test
has been registered to name.
