HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Release Notes (TK981-96008, May 2014)

If you display the tiered THP Pool list for XP P9500 in the Mobility tab, THP Pools for which you
do not have View permission are displayed.
In the Create THP Pool window, when you selected Smart for the pool type without first selecting
a resource group, the incorrect message KAIC15232-E was displayed.
If the search condition category was set to "Security" and you used a saved search condition,
the message KAIC15000-E appears, and the search cannot be performed.
Even if a volume of an external parity group was deleted, the volumes continue to appear in
screens for the following:
Parity group
External storage
When a user who has general user permissions is specified to add, refresh, or modify a Unix
host with Host Data Collector, the operation might generate the KAIC05535-E error.
If you had changed the JDK that DevMgr utilized with Oracle JDK 7 and then you operated the
Allocate Volumes dialog box or other dialog boxes, an unexpected error KAIC16993-E with
maintenance information: Comparison method violates its general
contract! might occur.
Important considerations
The number of client windows that can be used at one time
The maximum number of clients that can connect to Device Manager at one time is 16.
If 17 or more clients connect to Device Manager at one time, they may forcibly logged out. In this
case, wait a few minutes, and then log in again.
Creating CIM_StorageVolume in CIM/WBEM function
When the CIM_StorageVolume was created in the CIM/WBEM function, the RemainingManagedSpace
property for the CIM_StoragePool was not updated before the storage system was refreshed.
Enabling user account authentication in the Add Storage System dialog box
If a storage system is added while the following conditions are met, the setup of login account
authentication will generate the KAIC15001-E error. The addition of a storage system is usually
successful.
A host name is specified in IP Address/Host Name.
Enable SVP/RAID Manager user account authentication by CVAE is selected.
If the error KAIC15001-E occurs, in the Edit Storage Systems dialog box, select Enable or disable
SVP/RAID Manager user account authentication by CVAE, change Select... to Enabled, and then edit
the storage system.
Configuring Smart Pool in the Allocate Volumes dialog box
If you manually select volumes in the Allocate Volumes dialog box, you cannot change the following
Smart Pool configurations:
Tiering Policy Setting
New Page Assignment Tier
Relocation Priority
If this problem occurs, in the Resources tab, select the unallocated volumes in the Navigation Area,
and then open the Allocate Volumes dialog box.
