Fixes
The following issues were resolved in 8.0.0-00:
In the Create Pool dialog box or the Edit Pool dialog box, if you customized the tier management,
selected the monitoring template, and then clicked the Submit button, the KAIC16993-E error
occurred and the task couldn't be executed. Alternatively, if you tried to edit the monitoring
template, the KAIC16993-E error occurred and the monitoring template couldn't be edited.
When the ModifyReplication or DeleteReplication commands in CLI were used to
modify or delete a specific Fast Snap copy pair, the pvoldevnum parameter settings were
unintentionally not specified, and all the copy pairs in the Snapshot Group were modified or
deleted.
The GetStorageArray command for Device Manager CLI generates the KAIC90083-E
(error code=3005) error message.
Symptom 1: If the following procedure was performed, the KAIC15423-E or KAIC15467-E
occurred:
1. In the Added User window, a user with a user name of 256 characters was added.
2. In the Created User Group window, the user added in step 1 was allocated to the default
resource group or a user-defined resource group.
Symptom 2: After Symptom 1 occurred, an attempt to set the relations for the user group and
resource group generated the following errors:
KAIC15422-E
KAIC15423-E
KAIC15467-E
KAIC15470-E
KAIC15131-E
Symptom 3: After Symptom 1 occurred, a system became unstable. For example, the state of
processing by DevMgr operations in general did not progress.
Symptom 4: After Symptom 1 occurred, if the DevMgr service was restarted, the KFPA11404-E
error occurred while the service was restarting, and the attempt to restart was unsuccessful.
When you create a mixed smart pool, if you select a parity group, and then toggle between the
Internal Parity Groups tab and External Parity Groups tab in the Add Parity Groups window, the
Add to Pool button is enabled, and a parity group can be added.
On an AIX host for which the ENV environment variable is set, an irrelevant error message is
displayed when starting or stopping the Device Manager agent service.
The Elapsed Time is shown as negative numbers in the Tasks tab, the Task History tab, the
Completed Task List or the Failed Task List.
