HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Release Notes (TK981-96008, May 2014)

For P9500, Device Manager now supports the following host mode options:
Round Trip Extended Set Up Option
Change of the ED_TOV value
These options can be specified when allocating volumes.
The Device Manager CLI now supports the importing and setting of volume labels and pool names
for XP P9500.
From SCVMM2012 R2 on Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2012 Power Shell 4.5,
the following operations are supported via SMI-S Provider for Device Manager server for XP24000/
XP20000 or XP12000/XP10000/SVS200:
Add or delete storage system
Rescan storage system
Create or delete volume
Allocate or unallocate volume
Mount or unmount volume
Device Manager no longer supports the Tiered Storage Manager GUI in Legacy mode.
Device Manager GUI now supports Adobe Flash Player 12.
Device Manager now supports the following advanced cipher suites for SSL/TLS communication:
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256
Device Manager now supports new roles that can be allocated to a resource group in HP XP7
Storage, in addition to the roles that could be set in the previous version of the storage system.
For Smart Pools of HP XP7 Storage, Device Manager now supports a relocation speed adjustment
function in the following dialog boxes and commands:
Create Pool dialog box
Edit Pool dialog box
AddPool command
ModifyPool command
Host Data Collector now supports the following advanced cipher suites for SSL/TLS communication:
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256
Device Manager no longer supports the Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning.
Because the functionality of Element Manager has been integrated with HP XP7 Storage, Device
Manager now supports the following functionality and operations:
The functionality and operations specific to Element Manager can be used.
The tasks registered from Element Manager can be checked in the Tasks & Alerts tab.
