Even when SSL is enabled for accessing HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service, do not delete or

comment out the Listen 23015 lines.

To interrupt non-SSL communication from outside the network to the management server, you need

to edit the httpsd.conf file. See the procedure for enabling SSL/TLS for Common Component.

This port number is used only if the OS of the management server is Windows.

NOTE:

If you change the port numbers for Common Component, you might have to review the following

settings depending on the operating environment:

• If management clients (GUI) use Internet Explorer 6 (23015/tcp and 23016/tcp):

You need to change the pop-up blocking settings.

• If the Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning is being used (23015/tcp and 23016/tcp):

You must change the settings for the Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning.
