About linking to an external authorization server
In addition to an external authentication server, if you also use an external authorization server to
perform user authentication, access permissions for the management server (a P9000 Command View
AE Suite product) can be controlled on the external authorization server.
When an external authorization server is also linked to, you do not need to manage accounts and
set permissions for individual users because P9000 Command View AE Suite products manage users
by using the authorization groups on the external authorization server.
P9000 Command View AE Suite products can be linked to an LDAP directory server (Active Directory).
