Select the user ID, toolbox, and the system (the management server onto which Device
Manager was installed) to associate them.

5-3-2 User accounts and permissions
HP SIM users operate Device Manager by using a temporary account. For this account, you cannot
perform any operations related to an account such as changing a profile, assigning a resource
group, or locking an account.
Even if the same user name as the HP SIM user name is registered in an XP Command View AE
Suite product, the user ID is handled as another account.
Permission enabling the HP SIM user to operate XP Command View AE Suite products is
determined by the tools that were added to the user when the environment was set up. The
following table shows the correspondence between the tools and Device Manager permissions.
