installation-folder-for-the-Device-Manager-server\suitesrvcntl
/start_hdvm
In Linux:
Log in as a root user, and then execute the following command:
installation-directory-for-the-Device-Manager-server/suitesrvcntl -
start_hdvm

To stop the Device Manager server:
In Windows:
Log in as a user with Administrator permissions, and then stop the Device Manager server in
either of the following ways:
By using Windows functions:
Select Start > All Programs > XP Command View AE > Device Manager > Stop Server.
By using the following command:
installation-folder-for-the-Device-Manager-server\suitesrvcntl
/stop_hdvm
In Linux:
Log in as a root user, and then execute the following command:
installation-directory-for-the-Device-Manager-server/suitesrvcntl -
stop_hdvm

To check the operating status of the Device Manager server:
In Windows:
Log in as a user with Administrator permissions, and then check the operating status of the
Device Manager server in either of the following ways:

Status.
By using the following command:
